SEO can be a vague subject and difficult to get a sense of what you're investing in. And if you don't know, you run the risk of over-paying because you don't exactly know what you're paying for.

In this short article, I am going to show you how you can determine the value of an SEO campaign. Keep in mind that this is a rough estimate, but it's still the value you can expect to get.. Roughly..

Say for example, that you're a plastic surgeon and you want more breast augmentation jobs for your practice that's located in Dallas Texas.

We go to Google and type "breast augmentation dallas" and copy the link address from the top organic results.

Then we go to ahrefs.com's site explorer, punch in the website, and click on organic keywords.

As you can (hopefully) see, the keyword "breast augmentation dallas" is getting 1100 searches per month directly to their site!

The only thing left to do is to calculate the number of visitors X your conversion rate X your service cost.

And there you have it. The rough value the business is getting from that single keyword.

Conversion rates for websites are on average 1-3%. But if you want to see your exact conversion rate that you have right now. Then you need to look into your given website tracking software that you're using.

I hope this was of value to you.
